Today you have a shopping tour where you will visit some well-known shopping markets to buy clothes, jewelry and other Indian products.

Day 04Domestic flight from Delhi - Deoghar
In the morning you will be met by our representative and helped with the check-out formalities. Then you will be escorted to the airport in time to board the flight to Deoghar. Departure: Delhi at 11:00. By flight Arrival: Deoghar at 12:50. Upon arrival in Deoghar you will be welcomed by a representative of Tapasya Travel and will be taken to your hotel accommodation for your overnight stay. In the afternoon you will visit the local market.

Day 05Darshan Baba Baidyanath Jyotirling & andere tempels
In the morning after breakfast you will visit the Baba Baidyanath jyotirling dham and there is opportunity to participate in the joint pooy. Then visit Naulakha mandir and the Trikut Hills. Then return to your hotel accommodation.

Day 06Drive from Deoghar - Patna (+/- 7 hours)
In the morning after breakfast you travel to Patna. On arrival in Patna you will be taken to your hotel accommodation and then visit the ruins of the old Maurya capital.

Day 07City tour of Patna & Chhath Vedisch Festival
In the morning after breakfast you will visit the Kali mandir and Hanuman mandir. In the afternoon go to the ghat of Saint Ganges to see the Chhath rituals.

Day 08Chhath Vedisch Festival & Drive from Patna - Sitamarhi (+/- 4 hours)
In the early morning you will go to the Ghat of Saint Ganges to see the closing rituals of the Chhath festival. Then you go back to your hotel for breakfast and after checking out you travel to Sitamarhi, the place where devi Sita was found by her father King Janak in the ground. You visit the Janaki mandir and Paunara Dhaam.

Day 09Day trip to Janakpur (Nepal)
Car Trip Janakpur Patna (+/-5 hours) In the morning after breakfast you cross the border to Janakpur in Nepal. The place where the palace is where devi Sita grew up. You will visit the Ram-Sita Vivah mandap, the place where the wedding ceremony took place between Devi Sita and Shri Ram. You also visit the Dhanush Dhaam. Then travel back to Patna.

Day 11City tour of Kolkata
Enjoy a private half-day tour of Kolkata today. Start with a visit to the huge Victoria Memorial - built of white marble to commemorate the diamond anniversary of Queen Victoria in 1901. It is one of the city's most famous sights and is now a museum. Continue to stately Raj Bhawan, formerly home to the Viceroy of India and now the official residence of the Governor of West Bengal. Visit later the free-porting Howrah bridge that spans the Hooghly River - crossed every day by more than 100,000 vehicles and thousands of pedestrians, making it one of the busiest bridges in the world! Drive along the Eden Gardens . often described as the answer of cricket to the Colosseum. This famous stadium is considered the Mecca of cricket in India. Round off your tour at the Kalighat temple, one of the most sacred Hindu temples in Kolkata, which is allegedly the source of the city's name.

In the morning, the Depot and the place where the legendary ship, the "Lalla Rookh ", departed from Calcutta (current Kolkata) to Suriname. On board were the Indian immigrants recruited by the WIC to work on the sugar cocoa and coffee plantations in the West Indias, Suriname and Guyana. This is an important part of Indian, West Indian and Surinamese history. The immigration of Indian citizens to Suriname & de West Indies in 1873 has resulted in an Indian community in Suriname, West Indies & Guyana that hitherto keeps Indian culture and religion alive. Afterwards you have the day free to spend as you wish.
